Dr. Albert Beck began teaching in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core in 2011. Dr. Beck received bachelor's degrees in History and Education from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, a master's degree in Church History from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, and a Ph.D. in Religion, Politics, and Society from Baylor University. Before coming to Baylor, Dr. Beck worked as a teacher and administrator in a variety of private schools in Michigan and Texas. Since 2007, Dr. Beck has served as the Admissions and Advisement Coordinator for the Baylor Honors Program. His roles in that capacity include advising current and prospective Honors Program students, administering and developing Honors curricula, and coordinating courses for students in the program.
