Beyond the BIC
The BIC hosts monthly conversations with Alumni from across the country virtually or in-person for a group of 15-20 students to attend and participate. These interviews provide a great opportunity for students to get to interact with fellow BICers who are interested in their field as well as to learn from a BIC Alum who works in that field. Emails are sent out to students about these opportunities throughout the year. If you are interested in leading a Beyond the BIC session, please contact Emily Clark.
Baylor Interdisciplinary Excellence Fund
Since 1995, the BIC has provided a unique, alternative way for students to receive credits for general studies requirements by completing a challenging and diverse curriculum. The BIC experience focuses on a close reading of great texts, student-professor interaction, and active learning within a diverse learning community. Please help us continue to offer students this exciting opportunity by contributing to the BIC Excellence Fund. Funds can be designated toward student or faculty development. Our emerging focus for the BIC Excellence Fund is to foster international and cross-cultural experiences for any BIC student by providing significant scholarships for Baylor study-abroad opportunities and international internships. We appreciate your gifts!
